ams AS5047U Rotary Position Sensor is a Hall-effect magnetic sensor using a CMOS technology. The Hall sensors convert the magnetic field component perpendicular to the surface of the chip into voltage. The AS5047U Sensor is designed to offer fast absolute angle measurement over a full 360° range. The 14-bit on-axis Magnetic Rotary Position Sensor features integrated Dynamic Angle Error Compensation (DAEC™) with almost 0 latency at higher rotational speed. For increased signal quality at lower rotational speed, the Dynamic Filter System (DFS™) reduces transition noise. The robust design of the AS5047U Sensor suppresses the influence of any homogenous external stray magnetic field. The AS5047U features a standard four-wire SPI serial interface with Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) protection, allowing a host microcontroller to read 14-bit absolute angle position data and to program non-volatile settings without a dedicated programmer.
