Formerica 40G Optical Transceivers feature a hot-pluggable electrical interface and use standard 12/8 lane optical fiber with an MPO pluggable optical connector. The transceivers have a 0 to 70°C case temperature operating range. The devices are RoHS-6 compliant (lead-free). Typical applications include 40GBASE-LR4 Ethernet links, Infiniband QDR and DDR interconnects, and client-side 40G Telecom connections.
